From Yemen to Jordan, Egypt to Lebanon, our team has extended on the ground experience in over 1500 Middle Eastern communities. Every individual has worked with hundreds of men and women farmers, engineers, teachers, health professionals, community social leaders and municipal officials in some of the most remote areas of the region and with very diverse local traditions and economic conditions.
The work of our team members has impacted over half a million citizens who benefited from the short and long term effects of their commitment to success. Moreover, governors, ministers and central authority officials at all levels have witnessed first hand the rejuvenation of the communities where our team members have operated.
Designed and managed programs funded by USAID, USDA, the Dutch Government and the Jordanian Ministry of Planning, among others.
Developed the innovative “Bridges” process for decentralized planning and implementation of local economic expansion in Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt.
Commissioned by the Lebanese Government and the World Bank to design the framework for municipal fiscal decentralization of Lebanon’s Municipal Sector through a functional decentralized authority framework.
In Jordan, supported the Ministries of Planning and International Development, Interior, Municipalities, and of Tourism in formulating decentralized municipal-led Local Economic Development.
In Egypt, supported the Ministry of Irrigation and Water in formulating agriculture and agribusiness-based decentralized local economic expansion.
In 2013, and following formulated the first ever World Bank Framework for a Host Communities Program implemented across Northern Jordan in the cities and towns on the border with Syria.
In 2017, developed the innovative “YouthNow” cultural heritage school-to-jobs orientation program for Lebanese and Syrian High School students, which, as part and parcel of its process, builds in youth individual and team skill sets.
